These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the LedgerNorth website, web application, mobile applications, and API (together, the "Service"), operated by LedgerNorth ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract to use the Service. You are responsible for complying with all laws that apply to you, including any laws governing prediction markets or event contracts in your jurisdiction.
The Service provides analytics, market data, historical statistics, and alerting tools relating to publicly available prediction-market data.
You are solely responsible for your own trading decisions and their consequences.
You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at security@ledgernorth.io if you suspect unauthorised access. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe present a security or legal risk.
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring monthly basis through our payment processor, Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise recurring charges to your payment method until you cancel.
You agree not to: resell or redistribute the Service or its data except as expressly permitted by your plan; scrape or access the Service other than through the interfaces we provide; exceed or evade published rate limits; share account credentials or API keys with third parties; attempt to breach, probe, or disrupt the Service or its security controls; reverse engineer the Service; or use the Service unlawfully.
API access is provided subject to the rate limits published in the Service. API keys are personal to your account. We may modify, deprecate, or rate-limit endpoints, and will make reasonable efforts to give notice of breaking changes.
Market data originates from third-party sources and may be delayed, incomplete, interrupted, or inaccurate. We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or uninterrupted availability, and we may modify or discontinue features at any time. Alerts and notifications are provided on a best-effort basis and may be delayed or not delivered.
The Service, including its software, interfaces, and derived analytics, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for your own internal or personal purposes.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY TRADING LOSSES OR LOST PROFITS, ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, losses, and expenses arising out of your use of the Service, your trading activity, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, suspected fraud, non-payment, or legal requirement. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date and, where reasonable, notified by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which LedgerNorth is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be brought in the courts located there, unless applicable consumer-protection law provides otherwise.
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Kalshi, Polymarket, or any other exchange or venue whose public data may be referenced by the Service. All trademarks are the property of their respective owners.
